Keep vaccinations current and carry the medical certificates with you.
Check if your veterinarian offers boarding for your pet if you need to evacuate.
Know your pets hiding spots so you can find them in times of stress.
Be sure to have a portable carrier, leashes or harnesses.
Arrange for someone to care for your pet if you are unable to return home following a disaster.
Photo of your pet in case they get lost.
