The  Humane Society of Alameda has been helping our beloved animals these past 42 years and YOU are the reason we have been so successful. Your memberships and donations have helped reduce the pet population through our spay/neuter program, provided financial assistance, to pet owners, with medical expenses for their animals as well as helping the animals at the Alameda Animal Shelter, as shown on the enclosed “2014 Donations At Work”.

Through our “Free” animal adoption program at the Alameda Animal Shelter, Senior Citizens and Veterans of the Armed Forces have welcomed a new best friend into their home. The Humane Society of Alameda is able to provide the “Free” animal adoptions by the generosity of members and donors, like you, with bequests of specific funds for these programs. If a Senior Citizen living in Alameda on limited income and any member of the Veterans of the Armed Forces is looking for a best friend please stop by the Alameda Animal Shelter, one might be waiting for you.
